The newly launched Mail2World app has a number of features that make it stand out among mobile email apps. These unique features include Quick Reply and Quick Response, landscape mode, custom sender sounds and Smart Notifications. But today, we are focusing on one feature in particular: Smart Notifications.
The Smart Notifications feature allows you to customize notifications for each email account. Three types of Smart Notifications are available. Users can receive a Smart Notification from a specific folder or a specific sender, or users can activate the “Do Not Disturb” feature, which turns off notifications altogether for a specified time period.
To activate Smart Notifications, tap the Customize Per Account switch to the on position.
Smart Notifications Features
Here is an in-depth look at some of the individual features of Smart Notifications:
Notification by Sender
Notification by sender allows the user to setup a notification each time an email arrives in his or her inbox from a specific email address or domain. This feature can be helpful if users receive an important email from their boss at work, for example. Important emails will never go unnoticed.
Notification by Folder
Notification by folder notifies users when a new message arrives in a folder that was designated for notifications. Therefore, rules must be created and applied for an email to skip the inbox and go directly into its designated folder. Once an email arrives, a notification will appear.
Do Not Disturb
The “Do Not Disturb” feature allows you to instantly turn off notifications completely for a specified length of time. This feature is helpful when trying to avoid phone interruptions during a family dinner or an executive meeting, and it will help make embarrassment from unexpected interruptions a thing of the past.
Smart Notifications is just one of the exciting new features within our mobile app. Don’t hesitate to try this feature if you want to be a power user. We are thrilled to share featured Smart Notifications with our community and look forward to exploring more features within the Mobile App in the future to continuously improve your email experience.
